HEAs (High Pressure Alloys) is the material with five or more metal element and each of them has different stoichiometry in it. At high pressure, they also shown new properties. The specific strength, tensile strength, yield strength, corrosion resistance and antioxidant ability…et.al, completely different than traditional alloys. Those are dependent on lattice strain, dislocation density and other mechanical mechanism in HEAs. However, some of them are superconductor, and their Curie point can be increased at high pressure. They also have other interesting properties that we keep studying to find out.
